Always spell out Homeward House. Family Visitation & Resource Center takes an ampersand. Parent Ally Mentor is capitalized as the role name.

Adaptations and naming
We encourage you to adapt the tools and forms to fit your local context. If you make substantial changes to the five integrated elements (listed below and detailed in Section 1: What We Can Do: The Homeward House Model) of the Homeward House Collaborative Program framework, please rename your version so that “Homeward House” is not in the title, and clearly note that it is your adaptation of the original toolkit.

Commercial use
Commercial use of this toolkit (including use in paid trainings or fee‑based products) is not permitted under this license.

Using and adapting the Homeward House framework
The five integrated elements below describe the core framework of the Homeward House Collaborative Program:

  1. Judgment‑free Peer Support through Parent Ally Mentors,
  2. A healing Visitation & Resource Center environment for family time,
  3. Infant mental health services that work with parent and child together,
  4. Wraparound community partners who walk alongside families, and
  5. A two‑generation approach that serves both parent and young child at the same time.

As you adopt this program, you are encouraged to adapt the tools, forms, and implementation details to fit your local context. Small changes to wording, workflows, or service delivery are expected. If you significantly change how these five elements are defined, organized, or delivered so that the overall model is meaningfully different, please stop using “Homeward House” or “Homeward House Collaborative Program” in the title of your version and clearly note that it is your own adaptation of the original Homeward House Collaborative Toolkit. This toolkit and its five integrated elements are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution‑NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY‑NC 4.0) license and are intended for noncommercial use with appropriate attribution to Homeward House Collaborative and a link to homewardhouse.org.
