14th Annual Snohomish County Parent Ally Holiday Party

December 15 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This party is for families involved in the child welfare system, including:

  • Families currently involved with the Child Welfare System
  • Families successfully reunited and their cases
  • Families whose cases have been dismissed
  • Families whose children have recently returned home but still have open legal cases
  • Families that have not yet been reunited

Professionals working with families in the child welfare system are also invited. They include:

  • Social workers in Snohomish County
  • CASA
  • Attorneys

For families that have not yet been reunited, this is an opportunity for visitation in a fun event, where food and some activities for parents and children will be provided.

To be clear, we will NOT provide professional or lay visit supervisors for this event. That will be up to the individual social worker and family to address. But if you know of a family who has a visit scheduled on a Friday afternoon and has been approved for a visit out in the community, this would be a perfect family-centered activity (and free!) We would also like to extend a special invitation to the families participating in the Family Drug Treatment Court.

Please RSVP!

Parents: Please RSVP by Tuesday, December 5, with your name, phone number, and number of adults attending Ann Brice (ann@bricetimmlaw.com).

Finally, we are looking for donations—please consider donating a Christmas tree to be raffled off or money to cover the costs of printing out the Santa photos, the food and beverages we provide, or the cost of the craft projects.  If you wish to make a monetary donation, donations should be made to the YWCA, with the designation for the P4P Holiday Party. And because the YWCA is a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation is tax-deductible.
